Chapter 42

The Ladon Legacy – Chapter 42
The snow had finally melted and Christmas was over.  Sophia was looking forward to her future with Alexander.
Sharona was bugging Nathan about moving out.  As much as she loved his family they needed space.
And all Nathan wanted to do was please his new wife.  Although he was worried about leaving his sister.
But Joseph was there to watch over her every step of the way.
So Nathan arranged for Sharona and himself to move out.
To a beautiful little home called The Pumpkin Patch by Pyliathesunelf.
Thank you Pylia for being just awesome!  You can download this lovely little home here - http://gb.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=4444874
Hope (Ebony & Kieran’s daughter) had decided to pay a visit.  Jennie meanwhile had been invited to a party and headed off into the night.
Jennie was feeling the strain of 2 children and no father. She had very little time to herself.
And both the dogs getting fleas didn’t help with her social life!
However she did manage to call Alexander and invite him over
For Holly’s birthday.
Jennie had still not returned and the family were worried.  She had never made it to the party but had not returned home either.
So here is Holly all toddlerfied – isn’t she adorable!
Joseph: Look sonny.  My little girl has been hurt before.  You hurt her and I will come after you.
Alexander: Really Mr Ladon.  My intentions are completely sincere I promise you.  I love your daughter.
Joseph: Well, that’s good then.  But just so you know.
Sophia:  Aww, bless Dad.  Always looking out for me.
Alexander then asked for Joseph’s autograph!
Sophia: Did you just ask my Dad for his autograph?
Alexander: Urm, maybe.
Sophia: Dad, you realise Alexander will soon be part of this family?
Joseph: yeah but well he asked!
Alexander: Really?  Part of the family?
Tanya had come out to visit the family.
Although Joseph was more concerned with his living family than his mother.
Dorian was a very happy child and would make fun whatever he was doing.
Holly was much more competitive.
Holly: Ha ha! I’ve got the car and you are stuck in bed!
Misfit had been neglected of late
So Sophia spent some time with him making him feel more wanted.
And even taught him some jumping skills.
Hope was spending a lot of time out of her grave with the children.
Although Joseph liked to read Holly to sleep
Well, he tried!  I have never known a child so unwilling to sleep!
But eventually she gave in.
Sophia was trying to work on her riding skills but life kept getting in the way
The dogs had already realised this and were making their own fun.
Austin decided to pay a visit to Misfit.  Unfortunately he was asleep.
But the gnomes kept him company.
Sophia decided it was time for a wedding so arranged a party.
She made sure the kids were all prepared.
The gnomes were disappointed that they were not invited.
So it was time for a wedding!
All the family had arrived
Everyone was having a good time
Wess played the organ
But someone was late
Sophia watched the path looking for Alexander
The paparazzi were unforgiving
After hours had passed, Sophia tried calling Alexander but just got his answer phone
Sophia’s angst was interrupted at her realisation that Rhett had shaved his head.
Joseph was concerned that Alexander had not showed
So he tried to call but got the answer machine again.
Sophia tried to stay positive but her family could see past her guard
She kept looking at the path, waiting for Alexander to arrive
Joseph tried to reason with her but she was sure that Alexander was just running late
All the party guests had left and Sophia still waited.  Sure that Alexander would arrive.
As morning broke and she looked at the wedding surroundings she began to realise that he was not coming.
Sophia: He’s not coming.
Sophia: That’s it!  Not again!
Sophia arrived at Alexander’s house ready for a fight
Alexander: Wow what’s with the outfit?
Sophia: I waited for you!  We were supposed to get married!   This is my wedding dress!
Alexander: But I didn’t know!  I’ve just moved you must have left the message on my old machine.
Sophia: Do you realise how humiliating it is?  To be stood up on your wedding day?
Alexander: Hey, new house!  What can I say!
Sophia: It was our wedding!
Alexander:  Well, it’s not like you’ve given a damn recently.  I don’t think I care for you that much anymore.
Sophia: But Alexander?
Alexander:  I think you should leave Sophia.  I need to think about where our relationship is going.
Sophia: I’ll just go then shall I?
Alexander: I think that is best.
